Post-Secondary Academic Success Prep (PASP) is a 30-hour 10-week program that prepares students to navigate the challenges encountered during the first year of post-secondary studies. Focus will be placed on improving overall communication skills while providing confidence-building activities in an academic and professional setting.
The PASP is intended for students who have completed secondary studies, and who wish to attend college or university in North America.
Individuals interested in applying to the Post-Secondary Academic Success Preparatory program must:
a) be 18 years of age at time of attendance; AND
b) have matriculated from an accredited secondary school by time of registration; AND
c) have successfully completed Level 3/Intermediate (CEFR A2) or equivalent at an intensive English language program.
AND: must provide evidence of minimum proficiency in English according to ONE the following: a) TOEFL iBT: 50; b) MeLAB: 62; c) IELTS Academic: 5.0; e) PTE: 50; f) CAEL: 40; or g) an overall grade of 70% with no single skill score lower than a 65%.
